Interim arrangements for licensing existing road, cross country and other endurance officials and race organisers / personnel ended on 31st December 2006.
UK Athletics continued to process applications received after this date due to the number of applications that were still being received.
Any applications that have not been submitted to the county before the 30th April 2007, WILL NOT be considered under the interim arrangements.
Anyone who is currently involved in the sport in any capacity, including acting as a volunteer at road races, who has not already applied for an UK Athletics Endurance Officials Licence is urged to do so. The relevant Application For Grading Form can be downloaded from the link below. This must be received by the county before 30th April 2007 in order to be processed under the interim arrangments.
Holding a UK Athletics Officials Licence provides additional benefits including personal accident insurance when officiating or travelling directly to or from events organised or recognised by UK Athletics and travel insurance when officiating abroad. It also recognises and values their contribution to the sport.
Information on Risk Assessment courses and Health and Safety for Endurance officials to follow.
