OFFICIALS COURSES
on
TIMEKEEPING
Applications for this training course are invited from persons interested in helping as an official at Track & Field Meetings.
No previous experience of Timekeeping required.
The courses will be held on
Wednesday, 25th June 2008 at 6:45pm with Brian Alvey
At the Swansea Harriers Canteen which is located opposite the entrance to the Indoor track, Swansea.
The course will be from 2 to 3 hours duration.
The Cost of the course is £10 each candidate. Candidates are also required to bring with them a passport size photograph of themselves.
If you are interested in attending one of these courses please complete the attached form and send it with the £10 Course Fee to Ken Bennett, Officials Secretary by Friday 20th June 2008.
NB:
Having completed the course prospective officials will be required to complete a Logbook of their experiences whilst officiating and have at least six evidenced officiating experiences
Successful assessment of the log-book and evidence of officiating will lead to the Officiating Award and an Officials licence will be issued or amended, subject to the official being in receipt of an up to date UK Athletics Enhanced CRB disclosure.
